CATERPILLAR UNITS
JEW robust construction Pneumatic Caterpillar made of thick standardized steel. The range of product is completely adopted to the Industrial Environment. It is exposed to and is designed to last for decades with minimum maintenance.
The cable tension is controlled through pneumatic cable closing cylinders that are located inside the caterpillar. The pressure regulation on each belt is independent and adjustable by a manometer.
The Timing belts or Belt are driven by a AC motor coupled to a gearbox unit with two gear ratios. The power transmission between the two belts is controlled by a gear belt which avoids any slippage.
The centre line of the caterpillar is not affected by the cable diameter, as the gripping pressure of both the upper and lower belt is separately adjustable.
